If you have saved an email address to your Google/Gmail account it will be backed up and should be in your list of ‘Contacts’. This will ensure that your contacts are automatically saved to Google/Gmail. (the above steps can be slightly different as per your smartphone device) There you will find an option: Backup to Google Drive.
Click on Backup & Restore and then go to Google Account
